FAQ
What sports do you shoot?
Everything! While I primarily shoot basketball, I am happy to photograph any competitive sport - I've even photographed squash. I believe Basketball to be one of the most, if not most difficult sports to photograph due to the fast paced action. Having a long standing background shooting basketball, other sports tend to be less challenging to capture.
Growing up, I played baseball and basketball, but also dabbled in hockey and football. I'm an avid sports fan, which gives me the understanding of the various sports, while also allowing me to anticipate action.
What athletic levels do you photograph?
High school, college, amateur adult, semi-professional and professional. Both women's and men's.
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a Sony shooter. My kit includes two (2) Sony a9 II camera bodies. 16-35 f2.8 GM lens, 24-70 f2.8 GM lens, 70-200 f2.8 GM II lens, 200-600 f5.6-6.3 G OSS lens, Zeiss Batis 85 f1.8 lens.
How far will you travel?
I'm happy to travel within a 25 mile radius included in the prices listed above. Anything further than 25 miles will incur a $50 surcharge per additional 25 miles. I live in Drexel Hill, PA.
Weekend tournaments require hotel accommodations as well as full travel cost covered.
Do I have to pay ahead of time?
Yes. All payments are required prior to the event. Cancel for a full refund 48 hours prior to the scheduled event time. 50% refund if cancelled prior to 24 hours before the scheduled event time. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled event time are non-refundable.
Payments can be made via cash, check, Venmo, CashApp or Paypal.
Do you offer video?
No. I'm purely a photographer. Making photographs is the craft I've spent years honing. I am a photographer who found my passion in shooting sports. Focusing on other areas of photography prior to sports allowed me to understand light, exposure and composition. Just like any other trade, I believe it's better to have a specialist for the job. A jack of all trades is a master of none.
If you're looking for a videographer, I have people who I trust and am happy to refer.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, but I'd recommend doing so for the best quality. You own the high resolution digital images I share with you and can print wherever you choose. With that said, I print at a professional photo lab with the best color and image quality. Prints are sent directly to your door when ordering through me. It may cost you slightly more ordering through me, but I can assure you the product will be worth it.
